Introducing Commmunity Acupuncture at
Darlington Acupuncture and Massage Therapy

...long ago if you lived in Asia and you recieved Acupuncture it was likely in a group setting, in your village, for a minimal fee

Community Acupuncture is a model of care that provides Acupuncture in a comfortable, relaxed, group setting at a reduced fee. Typically clients will be grouped in rooms by gender and will be receiving acupuncture in a recumbent chair position or on a table with their clothes on (shorts and t-shirt may be recommended).

Payment is based on a sliding scale of $25.00-40.00, which will be decided by the client and offered discretely, with no questions asked.

The Acupuncture will be provided by Steve Darlington D, Ac. Steve has been practicing Acupuncture for over 20 years using the Traditional Chinese system.

The philospophy behind the Community Acupuncture model is to make Acupuncture more affordable and therefore more accessible. This accessiblity allows for more frequent treatments resulting in better treatment outcomes.

Our clinic will be open for Community Acupuncture on Mondays and Fridays from 2-5pm starting Febuary 15, 2016. Please call to book your space. An initial assessment will be needed at a one time fee of $15. For more information visit our website, www.darlingtonacupunctureandmassage.com or call us at 613-253-3456.

« Acupuncture's simplicity has made it difficult to deliver to the people who could benefit from it the most. It does not fit well into the helath care system we have, which is designed around complex, expensive interventions, that require elaborate diagnostic procedures, No insurance company on earth will pay for unlimited amounts of acupuncture for a patient with chronic pain-yet that's exactly what usually works best in the real world »
